How it works

Calendar days come from a simple subtraction. Business days iterate one day at a time and count Mon–Fri only.

Worked example

From 2026-01-01 to 2026-04-30 → 119 days, ~17 weeks, ~3 months 29 days, 86 business days.

Who should use this

  • Project planning
  • Calculating notice periods
  • Counting days until a deadline

Common mistakes

  • ×Forgetting that business days exclude weekends but not bank holidays
  • ×Mixing up 'from' and 'to' — we handle reversed dates but flag it

Frequently asked questions
